Module 1
Know Yourself: How You Are Wired
Career coaching is an art, but the methodology that I’ve used with over 3,700 students has a foundation based on science and data. Each student in my course takes the Birkman personality assessment before we even begin Module 1. It’s an assessment, not a test: There are no right answers.
The Birkman results are released to my students via email in a customized report exclusively available in our Launch course. You can’t get this custom report anywhere else. It’s that special.

- Gather and collate your academic profile. Not everyone is smart enough to be a NASA rocket scientist–me included! Aptitude, grades, testing performance, and academic preferences matter and enable us to determine if you realistically have the ability to earn the credentials it takes to work in a career.
- We all have personal preferences, values, interests, and limitations that also have a bearing on assessing fit. We’ve likely already discovered them in Module 1. With direction, you will create a personal profile to compare to the demands of any given job.
- In the final step of the Know Yourself part of the framework, you’ll learn how to create an online professional presence that perfectly captures you, as well as the attention of those you’ll want to connect with as you figure out your career.
Module 3
Know Careers: How to Gather the Information
From your Birkman Assessment, I am able to generate a career list that is uniquely suited for you. This list precisely matches (and scores out of 100%) your interests, motivations, personal strength, and behaviors to those of the adult population who already work in and LOVE those specific jobs. We also provide a list of jobs where you look nothing like those who love working in those jobs. This is KEY INFORMATION.
Once you understand and explore your career list, you will choose a single career or job from your top matches to start with. Yes, there will be quite a few to choose from! Next I will teach you my no-fail methodology for unearthing the essentially important career information and data to make informed decisions on fit.
